58. Michael Baranko, born September 25, 1793 in Zakarovce, Slovakia¹; died August 27, 1856 in Zakarovce, Slovakia². He was the son of 116. Joannes Baranko and 117. Anna Gburcsak. He married (1) 59. Anna Palkov Abt. 1814.

Notes for Michael Baranko:
It is an assumption that the Michael Baranko born on September 25, 1793, is the right Michael, but the date fits well, and there are no other likely candidates.
Michael Baranko was 65 when he died in 1856, which, if accurate, means he was born in 1791. At the time of his death, he was living at house #9 in Zakarovce, which is the same address given for his son, Vincentius.
It is quite possible that Michael Baranko was married briefly to Anna Majlath. On November 22, 1813, a Michael Baranko and Anna Majlath were married, but she would have had to die very soon after that for this to have been the case.

Notes for Anna Palkov:
At the time of her death, Anna (Palkov) Baranko was 47 years old. She was of the 'telkes' class, which is also seen as the Latin 'colonus (fem: colona),' which means that her family owned a small parcel of land and the house on it.
